Queen Sago is a lush green plant that grows 12 meters in height. The botanical name of this plant is Cycas Circinalis belongs to the Cycadaceae family. The native of this plant is south India. Now it is grown in Southern India and Sri Lanka. The seeds of this plant are poisonous, the poison can be removed by soaking it in water.

It should be soaked at least 5 times to remove the poison. After the final soaking, the seed can be dried and ground in flour. This flour can be used in tamales, tortillas, porridge, and soups. These seeds also have some medicinal benefits, so they can also be used to cure some health issues.
